Williamsburg Police Conduct Child Support Round-Up

     Williamsburg Police had arrested approximately 18 individuals by 7:00 a.m. Tuesday morning, as part of a child support round-up that began Monday night.

     Public Affairs Officer Shawn Jackson said warrants were obtained for 60 people who were thousands of dollars behind in child support payments.

     Kentucky State Police, Corbin Police and the Knox County Sheriff’s Department assisted in the arrests as part of the round-up, coordinated by the Whitley County Attorney’s Office and Williamsburg Police Detective Bobby Freeman.
