A Burnside man is facing a drug trafficking charge following a routine traffic stop on East Lakeshore Drive in Pulaski County.
When officers stopped a vehicle for not having a muffler, they observed a chemical odor coming from the vehicle. Following an investigation, a passenger in the vehicle was found to allegedly have a baggie of methamphetamine is his possession.
Jody Young, age 39, was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance.
The investigation is continuing by the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department.
