A Bell County man died, Tuesday, from injuries in a two vehicle crash that occurred on US 119 in the Page community of Bell County.
Trooper First Class Walt Meachum, Public Affairs Officer of the Harlan State Police Post, said an investigation determined that a vehicle, driven by 58-year-old Garrell Freeman, of Harlan, was travelling south on US 119, crossed the center line and struck, head-on, a northbound vehicle driven by Chester Miracle, age 80.
Both Freeman and Miracle sustained multiple injuries and were flown from the scene to the University of Tennessee Medical Center, where Miracle died.
Trooper Keith Baker is continuing the investigation.
