A Rockholds man is at the University of Kentucky Medical Center undergoing treatment for burns, apparently caused by a methamphetamine lab-related incident.
Corbin Police Captain Rob Jones, Public Affairs Officer, said the department received a report from Baptist Regional Medical Center that a man had been admitted with chemical burns over 30 percent of his body, consistent with meth lab explosions.
After questioning 35-year-old David Hensley, Corbin Police k-9 Officer Coy Wilson went to Hensley’s residence on Buck Hart Road and located a fully functional meth lab on the side of the mountain, just above the residence.
Hensley, who was taken to the UK Medical Center, could face charges when he is released from the hospital.
