Rickie Lynch was sworn-in, Tuesday, by Chief District Judge Cathy Prewitt as Corbin City Commissioner.
Lynch, age 57, was appointed by the Corbin City Commission earlier in the day to serve the remainder of his father’s term.
His father, Commissioner Dennis Lynch died suddenly June 14. He was 78.
Rickie Lynch says while he is glad to help out for a few months, he has no further political plans after serving the remainder of the term.
