Six Somerset residents were arrested, Tuesday, on methamphetamine-related charges following an investigation by the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department.
According to Pulaski County Sheriff Todd Wood, a search warrant was executed at a residence on Add Floyd Road in the Slate Branch community, after investigators obtained information that drugs were allegedly being sold at the home.
Officers seized items used to manufacture methamphetamine, a quantity of meth, a .22 rifle and more than $900 in cash.
Arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, and trafficking in a controlled substance were Paul “Skip” Bell, Gary Bell, Merrill Martin, and Robin Dykes. Apparently, the four were living together in the home. Paul Bell was additionally charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
While conducting surveillance of the home, officers stopped a vehicle occupied by Deanna Hays and Pamela Herrin. An investigation determined that the two women were allegedly delivering Pseudoephedrine to the residence. Pseudoephedrine is a key ingredient in meth. Both Hays and Herrin were charged with complicity to manufacture methamphetamine.
All six individuals were lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center.
