Local Officers Among Sgt. Academy Grads

Law enforcement officers from 17 agencies across Kentucky were recognized at a graduation ceremony, Friday, for completing the Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training’s Academy of Police Supervision, also known as the sergeant’s academy.

The academy is a three-week, 120-hour training program targeted for newly promoted sergeants or officers who are on their agency’s list to become sergeants.

Friday’s graduates and their departments included Travis Hurley of the London Police Department and Robbie Clark of the Somerset Police Department.
