34 individuals were targetedTuesday morning as part of a joint drug round-up by Kentucky State Police and the Williamsburg Police Department.
Williamsburg Police Public Affairs Officer Shawn Jackson said 27 of the 34 accused drug dealers were arrested by 9:00 a.m.. The arrests began at 5:00 a.m.
Charges against 11 of the 34 individuals were the result of an investigation conducted by Williamsburg Police Detective Bobby Freeman. Kentucky State Police investigations resulted in 23 individuals charged.
72-year-old Anna L. Johnson, of Williamsburg, was among 6 individuals arrested on drug trafficking charges. Other Williamsburg residents arrested included Billy K. Jones, Harold Hill, Jamie Powers, Michelle D. Adkins and Ronnie E. Dees.
Kentucky State Police and Williamsburg Police are continuing the investigations and arrests.
