Michigan Man Arrested for Drug Trafficking

     A Michigan man was arrested on drug trafficking charges following an investigation by the Knox County Sheriff’s Department.

     Sheriff John Pickard said deputies, Tuesday, stopped a vehicle, driven by Ronald Dale Hensley, at a routine traffic safety checkpoint on Ky 233 in the Gray community. Chief Deputy Derek Eubanks had received reports that Hensley had allegedly been selling pills. Following further investigation and a search of the vehicle Hensley, age 51, of Ypsilanti Michigan, was arrested by Deputy Roy Gambrel and charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance in the 1st and 2nd Degree, and lodged in the Knox County Jail. Officers reportedly seized Oxycontin, hydrocodone and cash. Chief Deputy Eubanks is continuing the investigation.
